Yoga Foundation

About Us/Our Mission

Pranayoga Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing wellness and healing for people on the cancer journey and living with chronic pain.

Exciting new research is emerging on the effects of yoga in the health and well-being of people suffering from cancer and chronic pain. Pranayoga Foundation focuses on an adaptive style of yoga that meets the person "where they are". Yoga Therapy is an integrative therapy that can be used at any stage of illness to improve quality of life. We use awareness, breath-control, gentle movement, imagery healing, and meditations that become a lifestyle transformation. It has been documented that yoga aids in reducing anxiety, depression, pain, insomnia, and chronic fatigue that are common side effects of these illnesses and their treatments. Our staff is hear to serve you on your journey and provide support in your healing on all levels of your being.

"Start by doing what's necessary; then do what's possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible." -Francis of Assisi
